To be honest...,
although I am a Japanese...,
I dont like rice so much..X'(
I'm not sure the reason ,but I dont like its taste which is slightly sweet.
Of course I know that the slightly sweet tase is very delicious for many people,
but it's not for me.
However, rice is really nutritious and it is kind of necessary for a Japanese diet,
so I always cook rice such as omu-rice or fried-rice, put some thing to rice such as Natto, curry or ume boshi.
One of my favorite items which I eat with rice is LAVER:)
Recently, I'm crazy for Korean laver. Have you ever tried it?
It is a sesame oil flavored with salt. It smells so good!!
I highly highly recommend my original recipe.
It's very easy to cook, so please please please try!!
★Recipe★
Preparation
・a bowl of rice
・an egg
・some peice of green onion
・Korean laver
How to cook
1. mix an egg with rice (make TKG)
2.add green onion and Korean laver
That's it!!
It'll be better if you add say sauce or sesame oil etc according to your preference.
I think laver is very unique food and it is been familier in only East Asia.
Foreigners tend to be surprised or feel wierd because of the color, black.
Although I like laver and it is very delicious, I feel awkward when they feel wierd about it.
anyway I am Japanese★!

You can cook it soooo quickly, so it will jump into your mouth:D
Here is the recipe★

2. sauce (I used ready-made sauce this time)
3. olive oil
1. put salt and pepper to pork
2.put one spoon of olive oil to a pan
3. fry pork
4. put sauce into a pan and simmer for 2 min.
5.DONE!!
It's very easy and quick isn't it?
It was the first time to cook Saltimbocca.
It was little bit spicy because of pepper, but so delicious:)

My favorite restaurant:)♥
I'm gonna introduce my favorite restaurant in the world♥
Its name is "Cafe Coco Tanta", and it's located in Fuji city in Shizuoka.
I remember clearly that I went to the restaurant for the first time.
When I was a freshman, I got a driver's licence. Then, I drove to there with my friend.
It was also first time to drive with my friend.
It looks a lovely house in the Europe♥
so there are lots of lights there.
The restaurant is a buffet style.
At first, you have to choose 60minutes course or 90minutes course.
Next, you have to choose one meal with dessert, or only dessert.
You can eat cake as possible as you can within time you chose!!
Actually, last Wednesday, the day I tried to be a vegitarian, I went there with my mom.
We ate spaghetti with mushroom sauce, and I ate four pieces of cake★
I ate pudding, raspberry tart, cheese cake, and chocolate cake. I tried Lacto-Ovo:D
I was so full when I ate all of them, so I didn't feel that being a vegitarian was difficult:Dhaha
Please look at these pictures!!

Wedding cake★
Hi guys:)
It's June! Time flies!!
Are you depressed by the rainy season?
When it comes to June, I always come up with "June Bride"
I guess many girls want to have a wedding in June because it said that a bride who has a wedding in June will become happy.
Then, what does it derive from?
It derives from Rome myth.
In English, "June" comes from the name of Jupiter's wife, "June".
She was a god of marrige, so it has been said that the couple that get married in June will become happy. That's why a bride who get married in June is called "June Bride".
One of important events of wedding is cake-cut.
There are some origins of it, for example, Greek myths or tradditional custom in Europe.
The ordinary wedding cake had just one layer.
The American style is rectangle with one layer.
British style is usually circle with three layer, which is main streem in Japan.
French style is called Croque en Bouche.
Croque en Bouche

British style Amerian style

I was surprised because there are different styles of wedding cake.
I want Croque en bouche for my wedding because it is kind of rarein Japan and looks cool:)
However, I do not want to give a bite of cake to my husband in front of the guests.
It's relly ashamed!!
What kind of wedding do you want to have in the future??
Thanks for reading my blog!!

Almond jelly♥
Hi everyone!!
Do you like Alomond jelly??
Almond jelly?! What's that?!
If you have not heard it, you might be confused,
but you definitely know it!!
It's "Annin-dofu".
Almond jelly is sweet and it is known as a chinese dessert in Japan.
However, it has been used as remedy in China.
Alomond jelly is made from seed of apricot which can be a medicine for asthma.
The seed is pounded to make almond jelly, but it taste really really bitter, so it is flavored sweeter to eat. It is Almond jelly.
Actually, Almond jelly sold in Japan don't contain that bitter powder because it is not used for remedy but as a dessert, it contains almond essence instead of it. That's why it is called "Almond Jelly".
The reason why alomond essence is used instead of it is the flavor of almond and apricot is similar.
In addition, it's so simple to make it at home.
I'll get the recipe and try to make it soon:)

Japanese apricot
Hi everyone!!
Today I'm going to talk about "Japanese apricot"(ume!!).
Do you like it??I love it:)
However, the taste is very very sour, so foreigners tend to hate it.
2 years ago, I had an American friend who was a student at KUIS.
One day, he asked me to teach him how to cook rice balls. (It is pretty easy tho:Dhaha)
Then we went to a grocery store to get some ingredients for the rice balls.
Ususally, salmon, okaka, kombu, or of cource Japanese apricot are standard ingredients for
rice balls.
We got them, and started to make rice balls at home.
It was first time to eat Japanese apricot for him, and it killed him!!
It surprised him and he spit it...
I was pretty shocked because I love Japanese apricot and I was proud of it as a Japanese. lol
But he SPIT it... I felt kind of culture shock, but it was interesting.
Anyway, I love Japanese apricot.
We can eat as picled ume, jam and there are a lot of ways to eat it.
It includes much citric acid, and it maked our body fine!!
We should eat it in summer!!

Hi everyone!!
Have you ever heard or eaten "Fujinomiya Yakisoba"?
Fujinomiya is my hometown and it is located on the east of Shizuoka.
Fujinomiya is my hometown and it is located on the east of Shizuoka.
Fujinomiya Yakisoba is little bit different from regular Yakisoba.
Then, what's the difference?
1. Its noodle is slightly harder than regular one (kind of rubbery...)
and only two companies, "Marumo" and "Kano-ya" are producing the noodle.
and only two companies, "Marumo" and "Kano-ya" are producing the noodle.
2. It includes Niku-kasu that are peaces of fried meat, and they are crunchy
(History)
In 2000, "Fujinomiya Yakisoba Gakkai" which is an organization for promoting Fujinomiya Yakisoba. They challenged The Guiness Book of World Records by making Yakisoba for 3776 people. Can you guess the meaning of 3776? This number is the hight of Mt Fuji. As you may know, Mt Fuji is located on part of Fujinomiya city, so they challenged making Yakisoba for 3776 people. At that time, they used 6m long hot plate. I ate this Yakisoba:) In 2006, Fujinomiya Yakisoba was awarded for the first "B-1 Grand Prix", and then it was awarded for the second "B-1 Grand Prix" in 2007. Since then, it has been becoming famous popular.
There are a lot of restaurants that serve "Fujinomiya Yakisoba" everywhere in Fujinoiya.
If you have a chance to go to there, find the flag of "Fujinomiya Yakisoba" and eat!!

Have you ever watched "Marie Antoinette"?

Have you ever watched "Marie Antoinette"?

In 1770, Marie got married to Louis Augesto who was a prince in France.
However, Marie was sort of isolated because she was from Austria.
Although she found herself alone, there were always so beautiful dresses,
However, Marie was sort of isolated because she was from Austria.
Although she found herself alone, there were always so beautiful dresses,
shoes, jewelies and SWEETS around her.

When I watched it for the first time(5-6years ago?),
I was curious about colorful circle things like cookies.
They were macaron:)
Macaron is a confection which is like sandwich.
Colored cookies sand butter cream or jam.
Cookies are made from egg whites, icing sugar,
granulated sugar, almond powder or ground almond, and food coloring.
Macaron is tradittional food in France and it has a long history.
It said that macarons were created in Frence in 791.
However, there are a lot of opimion about its origin.
I felt the food is part of its country's history
and it has been loved so long long time.
